How could any man ever resist you? With lips like roses, and tears of sorrow, like a lover waiting on a far away tommorrow, hoping for the return of one you could't follow. Who could ever treat you badly? Intent on waiting, with a sad heart beating, for a love that's free and pure They all expected you to accept the crown and the seat, so they could lay their love like gifts at your feet, but you would not bend to their will in defeat. What made them think they could own you? As time passes by you've run down all the fakes, crossing off the list not wanting to repeat mistakes, holding deep inside your passion for as long as it will take. Who will be sent to challenge you? Intent on waiting, with a sad heart beating, for a love that's free and pure........iamthedark Comments
